Tri Golf at South Holderness

South Holderness hosted a Tri-Golf event on Tuesday, 3rd February. We had four schools attend Aldbrough, Inmans, Paull and Thorngumbald. It was a lovely event where each team of 10 players, 5 boys and 5 girls played 8 skill based golf stations, 4 putting and 4 chipping.  Various skills and golf techniques were needed to achieve the highest points on each of the 8 games.

It was an enjoyable event and the final points were:

1st - Paull primary School - 1136 pts

2nd - Aldbrough primary School - 1048 pts

3rd Thorngumbald primary School - 985 pts

4th Inmans primary School - 920 pts

Well done to all who took part and especially to Paull on their triumph.

If Paull come in the top 2 schools in the School Sport Partnership they will gain automatic qualification to the Humber School Games level 3 competition in July.

Well done to all who took part. The event was hosted by Ivan Oliver PGA Golf professional.

Thank you to students at SHTC who volunteered to run the stations and did a great job.
