Tickton retained the Sportshall athletics shield on Tuesday in a wonderful evening of competition.

Teams from Cherry Burton, Leconfield, Minster, St.Johns, St.Marys, Swinemoor, Tickton and Walkington came for the indoor athletics at Longcroft on Tuesday 22nd November.

Boys and girls teams took part in 6 track relays, 4 jumping challenges and 2 throwing events to score points for their team.

The noise was incredible as pupils cheered on their team.....

Thanks go to the Longcroft Leaders who did a great job officiating, measuring, recording and motivating.

Final placings were 8th St.Marys, 7th Swinemoor, 6th Cherry Burton, 5th Leconfield, 4th St.Johns, 3rd Walkington, 2nd Minster and

1st TICKTON

Tickton will go on to the SSP finals next term.
