A massive congratulations to Walkington Primary School who won our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Sportshall Competitions yesterday!

It was a brilliant afternoon with Hornsea Community Primary, Martongate Primary, Inmans Primary, Walkington Primary, Burstwick Primary, Paull Primary and Nafferton Primary all competing for the title of SSP Sportshall Athletics Final winner for Year 3/4 and Year 5/6!

The final scores were:

Year 3/4:

1st - Walkington Primary, 220 points

2nd - Martongate Primary, 182 points

3rd - Nafferton Primary, 126 points

4th - Hornsea CP, 124 points

5th - Inmans, 74 points

Year 5/6

1st - Walkington Primary, 208 points

2nd - Hornsea CP, 198 points

3rd - Martongate Primary, 130 points

Joint 4th - Burstwick/Paull Primaries and Nafferton Primary, 96 points

A big thank you to all of the school staff for bringing your children to compete and thank you to all of the SSP staff and the Sports Development team for their delivery of this.

Walkington Primary will now go on to represent the Partnership at the Humber finals in April. The very best of luck!
