This year our cluster decided to have the Y5/6 sportshall athletics in two sessions to maximise activity time for the pupils and it worked well. The afternoon session was attended by Swinemoor, St.Nicholas and Minster. The later session saw teams from Walkington, St.Johns, Leconfield, Molescroft and Tickton compete against the times and distances set by the schools at the earlier session.

Leaders from Y9-11 at Longcroft did a great job with encouraging the younger pupils and recording results. Mrs Fitzpatrick was again very grateful for thier help.

Final placings were as follows - 8th St.Nicholas, 7th Swinemoor, 6th Molescroft, 5th Leconfield, 4th St.Johns, 3rd Minster, 2nd Walkington and 1st place TICKTON.

I think it is the first time Tcikton have won the sportshall athletics so many congratulations to them and good luck for the finals in 2016!
