In a reduced competition 5 brave teams turned out at Longcroft for Rounders. A round robin competition was played on the Longcroft 3G area by Molescroft, Cherry Burton, Leconfield, Swinemoor and St.John's.

10 matches were played and a total of seventy four and a half rounders were scored which indicated the quality of the batting performances.

Pupils from Y5&6 competed well and also developed their understanding of the rules - they all now know they must carry the bat around the running track or they will be out!

The results were as follows - Leconfield 2 points, St.Johns - 3, Cherry Burton - 4, Molescroft - 5 and the winning team was Swinemoor with 6 points.

Swinemoor will go through to the SSP final and be joined by the winner of the Beverley cluster competition which has been re-arranged for 7th June.
