Another fantastic turnout for Orienteering this year.

Supported by HALO our local club and particularly Neil Harvatt who gives us so much support with running this event.

We had 37 Y5 and 31 Y6 teams complete the 2 courses set up around the perimeter of Longcroft grounds. Pupils set off from the sports hall and worked their way around the back of the 3G and ended up visiting the lower school before finishing in front of the parents and supporters waiting at the sports hall.

Leconfield turned out in force and put in some great performances and resulted in them winning both competitions. They will go on to the East Riding final at Burton Constable Hall.

The runners up were Cherry Burton and Tickton in the Y5 competition and Minster in Y6

Some good individual performance saw pairs from Cherry Burton, Minster and Lockington also earn an invitation to the final.
