Last Tuesday on a beautiful evening Longcroft School hosted the cluster small school football competition. This event finds our cluster winner who qualifies for the East Riding Schools finals.

It was fantastic to have 6 schools attend and enjoy 5 games of football. Each match was 10 minutes long and refereed by Mr Trotter and his team of helpers.

Mr Trotter said "A fantastic night of Football was clearly enjoyed by all!! Congratulations to Cherry Burton who take the Cup with such a narrow margin of just one goal!!!"

All teams scored at least one goal and well done to all.

Lockington and Woodmansey should be congratulated on turning out teams when their schools are so small.......Swinemoor finshed 4th, St.Johns were 3rd, Leconfield 2nd and winning by goal difference Cherry Burton.

Good luck to them in the final.
