Teams from Cherry Burton, Tickton, Molescroft, Walkington, St.Johns, Leconfield and St.Marys took part in this years rounders competition.

There were 4 pitches in operation with some schools facing a Y7 Longcroft team. The players developed their knowledge of rules as the afternoon progressed having discovered that many teams play many different versions of the game!

Thanks to the Longcroft leaders team who umpired and scored throughout the afternoon. They were extremely impressed with the skills of Y5&6 and commented that some of the batting and throwing was better than theirs!

After the round robin group games all took part in the play offs.
