Seven teams entered the golf competition; Tickton, Lockington, St Marys, St Johns, Minster and walkington, due to extremely wet weather we ran the event indoors which worked well.

The eight stations challenged chipping and putting skills and tested the pupils accuracy. It was a great introduction to golf for many.

Out thanks to Paul Mayoh from Hainsworth Park Golf Club in Brandesburton for supporting this competition. The stations were run by Longcroft students. 

School teams of 5 boys and 5 girls had 5 minutes on each station to score as many points for their team as they could.

The top 2 schools from the competition qualified for the next round in Bridlington, well done to St Marys and Tickton and congratulations to Tickton for being the top scoring full team on the evening.
