Eleven teams entered the cluster golf this year but sadly only 5 made it to compete on the day. We will review the timing of this next year to try and make this event more accessible. It was however a fun experience for those who took part.

The eight stations challenged chipping and putting skills and tested the pupils accuracy. It was a great introduction to golf for many.

Out thanks to Paul Mayoh from Hainsworth Park Golf Club in Brandesburton for supporting this competition. The stations were run by Longcroft Y8 students who were new to the leaders team. This was their first event but Paul prepared and encouraged them throughout.

School teams of 5 boys and 5 girls had 5 minutes on each station to score as many points for their team as they could.

The results were 5th St.Johns, 4th Swinemoor A, 3rd Lockington, 2nd Swinemoor B and the winners were WOODMANSEY.
