Longcroft hosted the Girls School Football competition on Tuesday 11th November. We had an amazing turn out with 9 teams attending: Cherry Burton, Molescroft, St Johns, St Marys, Swinemoor, Minster, St Nicks, Tickton, and Walkington. It was great to see so many enthusiastic girls teams playing on the evening with an impressive skill range. The competition ran as two groups and in the final we had Minster and Tickton. Congratulations to Minster who won the competiton and didn't drop a game all the way through. Minster now go on to represent Beverley in the next round of the competition. Good Luck girls. 

Thank you must also go the the refs for the evening, we had our very reliable and efficient boys who have been amazing in all the primary school football. On the evening we had some girls training up as refs to take on the mantle next year, they did incredibly well for their first time. We could not run these competitions without students volunteering their time.
