A fantastic turn out with eleven schools entering the quad kids athletics. All pupils ran either 50m or 75m and a 400m or 600m, they also long jumped and threw the vortex. All this earned points for their team.

Well done to all particularly those who were unable to field a full team but came along and had a go!

The winning scores have been forwarded to the competition manager to be compared with schools in other clusters. The top school in the SSP will go forward to the level 3 School Games final.

The results for Y3/4 were........

1st Walkington, 2nd Cherry Burton, 3rd Kledmarsh, 4th Minster, 5th Leconfield, 6th Lockington, 7th St.Johns, 8th St.Marys, 9th Swinemoor, 10th Molescroft, 11th Woodmansey

In the Y5/6 competition the results were

1st Walkington, 2nd Minster, 3rd Leconfield, 4th St.Marys, 5th Molescroft, 6th St.Johns, 7th Keldmarsh, 8th Woodmansey, 9th Lockington, 10th Swinemoor, 11th Cherry Burton

It should be noted that the teams in italics did not have full teams so thier results were with less team members.
