The 2 Quad Kids events have now both been held within the Hornsea Cluster with all the children competing in a Jump / Throw / Distance / Sprint to determine the best team in the Cluster.

Event 1 - Hornsea Primary

All the children from Years 3,4,5 & 6 participated in this fantastic event which was run by the equally fantastic Sports Leeaders from Hornsea Secondary.  It's always a big event with 325 children taking part, but this year was particuarly special to see so many of the School Games Values on display.  The children were superb not only at performing to their best ability but their encouragement of others was outstanding!

Event 2 - Leven 

There were 45 pupils from Leven taking part in the Quad Kids events, sadly the other schools couldn't make it after the date had to be rescheduled because of the awful June weather! Leven's Year 5/6 athletes performed well, depite the Year 5s being a little jaded after their weekend residential trip! It was also great to see them having some fun with relays too!  In the afternoon the Year 3/4 athletes were also fantastic & competed with all the School Games Values.

A lot of work goes into the organisation fo the Quad Kids events, so thanks must be given to Miss Cox, Miss Reed & Miss Hutchinson who sorted the logistics of the events. Special thanks must also go to the fantastic leaders from Hornsea Secondary who have been outstanding in their leadership & encouragement of all the Primary pupils.
