Hornsea Cluster Tag Rugby Festival

Hornsea Tag Rugby

A fantastic evening's rugby was held in blue sky and with sunshine, despite the forecast!  Teams from Hornsea Community Primary and Sigglesthorne arrived brimming with enthusiasm and ready to play.  Despite the very muddy conditions the pace of the rugby was fast and furiuous, all teams played with determination and had loads of fun.  As the evening progressed the standard of the rugby improved, the competition was very close and the overall winners Hornsea Year 5A were decided on goal difference over Hornsea Year 6A.  Hornsea will go on to represent the Hornsea cluster in the next round - congratulations!

A big thank you to Ali McLarron, Graham Thompson & Steve & Callum from Hornsea Secondary School who were all excellent referees and also to the parents who supported from the touchline.

All the children had a fantastic time and went home very happy & very muddy!!
