It was great to see football combine with education as 8 teams from Hornsea, Sigglesthorne, Leven, Riston, Beeford, North Frodingham & Roos competed in the annual Fairtrade Football Tournament.

The evening started wtih Margaret Knapton talking to the pupils about Fairtrade and each captain being presented with a Fairtrade Football, sponsored by the Hornsea Lions before the tournament commenced.  All the refereeing was carried out by Hornsea Secondary Leaders, who did a great job!  

There was some good football played by all teams, the eventual winners of both divisions was Leven - so congratulations to them!
