Walkington, Woodmansey, Tickton and St John all had two teams at the Beverley/Longcroft cluster Tennis festival. All schools brought a Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 team to compete against each other on a very warm summers evening at Longcroft.

In the Y3/4 event Tickton won with 104 points closely followed by St John, Woodmansey and Walkington in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectivley.

In the Y5/6 Walkington had a massive change of fourtune winning 118 points with St John, Woodmansey and Tickton in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectivley.

Thanks to Ben Holtby who ran the event and the 10 BGS leaders who umpired, it was a great festival with some fantastic tennis on show
