A fantastic new event was held on a lovely sunny evening at Hornsea Primary, with pupils from Hornsea, Leven, Sigglesthorne, Riston and Beeford all attending this inaugural skipping event.  It was designed to provide an event for the younger, less active pupils & to follow on from the Skills to Skip CPD which had been held earlier in the year. 

East Riding Sports Development ran the event which included:

• Mass warm up with music
• Group circuit skipping activities
• Relay skipping
• Long rope skipping
• 1 minute skipping challenge

It proved to be a great evening with the children being very active and having fun throughout, with a lot of smily faces!  There was also help from Hornsea Secondary School Young Leaders, as well as 4 fantastic helpers from Year 6 at Hornsea CP
