Longcroft cluster held their first Boccia festival this week and welcomed 16 teams from Keldmarsh, St.Marys, Lockington, Tickton, St.Johns, St.Nicks and Minster.

8 playing areas ran across the width of the sports hall so all teams were all able to play at the same time. 4 teams played a round robin format supported by Longcroft leaders and Andy Watt from Kingsmill School in Driffield. Teams were then mixed up and a further round of games were played.

All teams played 6 matches with each match made up of 2 games. Teams named themselves after animals and collected stickers for each match they won.

Congratulations to all who took part and I am sure Boccia will feature in our competition calendar again next year.
