The Longcroft cluster ran their first megafest rugby event this week and the primary schools that attended LOVED it!

In the morning Beverley Grammar School GCSE students ran 8 stations for Minster and Keldmarsh Y4 and 5 and in the afternoon a new group of sports leaders at Longcroft worked with St.Johns, Swinemoor and Walkington pupils running 10 activities.

There were stations where pupils played chasing games using a rugby ball and there were several variations on tag games. The pupils were kept very busy they worked hard for 90 minutes.

Alan from Beverley RUFC joined us and encouraged those who wanted to do more rugby to come down on a Sunday morning for their junior session.
