At last we had some lovely weather for Hornsea's cricket festival.  Pupils from Hornsea CP and Sigglesthorne played in combined teams which were named "Energy", "Swag Kids" and "The Six".  Everyone really enjoyed learning more about Kwik cricket and as the evening progressed, so did the standard of the cricket.  This was in part due to the extra coaching being given by the Butterworths (many thanks to them!) when a team wasn't playing a match.  The spectators enjoyed seeing the players displaying School Sport values and mixing with new team mates to make new friends.  The overall winners of the festival were "The Six" so many congratulations to them.  Thanks also to Andy & Mark from Hornsea Cricket Club for umpriring the event.
