The sporting school year began quickly for Molescroft, Tickton, St.Nicholas, Swinemoor, Leconfield and Cherry Burton who played in a 7 a side football competition at Longcroft on 19th September.

They were playing for places in the 'Big' and 'Small' schools East Riding finals.

Swinemoor triumphed in the big school competition and Cherry Burton won the small school event.

It was a great start to the year for all involved and the new referees from Longcroft who supported Mr Trotter on the night.
