A bright sunny afternoon at Beverley Rugby Club welcomed 12 primary school teams for the tag rugby festival.

They were given a great welcome by the club and Tesco who were there to hand out fruit and water to the players on arrival.

The team of officials from Beverley Grammar and Longcroft did an efficient job with refereeing, time keeping and collating the scores.

Particular mention should go to the small schools who competed throughout against some of the bigger schools.
